Hello Wildcats! Super Paws had a very busy week in EE! Tuesday he was at Puma Paw Ranch picking apples and exploring nature with the kinders! A big thank you to John and Shelly for being awesome hosts! Wednesday he escorted 2nd grade to "Order Up" - a local restaurant here in Rifle. Christina and Joseph were the ultimate hosts serving up breakfast tacos and build your own sundaes. Thank you guys for all the fun! If you have not been by to have breakfast or lunch there you should give it a try! Thursday was a full day with 4th grade. We went to Horse Mountain Alpacas in Fruita, Reddig vegetable farm in Grand Junction, and apple picking at Fruit Farms. I even got to try the zip line!  Keep checking in for more exciting adventures!

We are so excited to have an Experiential Education program here at Wamsley! Everyone is talking about our new adventures, getting to work in the garden, and cooking in our new kitchen! So far kindergarten and first grade have been to Palisade to visit an alpaca farm and also to Talbott Farms where they got to watch peaches being boxed and sent to our local stores. We will be cooking items from the garden for both growth night and the school board meeting here at school. Come by and check out all of the amazing experiences here at school!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Schipper into her new role as Experiential Learning Coach. She will be working with our Wamsley Wildcats and helping students to be actively involved in their learning through curriculum based field trips and other outdoor learning expeditions. Watch for more information about their activities here.
